Project focus – Hackwood Primary Academy
Hackwood Primary Academy was built in 2019 and because of its modular nature, the construction was completed in just nine months.
Designed by Lungfish Architects and built by Morgan Sindall, it was built to provide sufficient primary school places to support the planned 700 new homes on the neighbouring Hackwood Farm Estate.
Bailey Streetscene were pleased to supply a number of Sheffield Door Barriers to the school project, as well as a wider range of street furniture including seating, cycle compound, and an unusually shaped bespoke bin storage unit, that was designed to make as much use as possible of the available space.
In line with the swift construction of the building itself, a speedy turnaround was required, to deliver the exterior elements for the new school to be in place before the start of the new term.
